Handmade, practical and sculptural, forged ironwork
Shortlisted for Best New Product Design at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2011/2013/2015, Straysparks creative metalwork caters for the garden enthusiast with a taste for organic, flowing design in the garden. Using traditional and contemporary blacksmithing techniques, we have designed a wide range of beautiful, outdoor and indoor hand forged pieces, which add a unique impact to the contemporary home. We feel privileged to love the work we do and are passionate about bringing, affordable, proudly British designed and made, beautiful objects to peoples gardens and homes.
Made, not manufactured.
Buying handmade is about more than quality. It is about support for local business, encouraging skilled crafts people and most importantly, bringing home a truly unique piece of artwork. When you buy direct from the maker you get to interact with the creation of your own piece, you have more freedom and choice and you deal with human beings from start to finish. Our business strives to reward hard work, talent, creativity, initiative and personal responsibility, which, we are confident reflects in every item we make.
Functional
Inspired by the Arts and Crafts motto: “have nothing in your home which is not useful and beautiful.”
Sculptural
Designed and hand forged to show beauty within function.
Affordable
Value without compromise to the hand forged nature of our work is at the forefront of our design Philosophy.
British Designed and Made
All our products are designed and made in this country. Proudly preserving an indigenous craft and preserving a British manufacturing base.
